Este lunes 14 de septiembre se llevará a cabo una nueva edición de los premios Emmy, los cuales reconocen lo mejor del mundo de las series. Esta será la ceremonia número 78 y tendrá lugar en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles.
La transmisión en Argentina comenzará a las 20 h con la alfombra roja, el arribo de todas las estrellas al gran evento. La ceremonia de entrega tendrá inicio a las 21 h y se podrá ver por TNT y HBO Max.
Esta edición tendrá como conductora a Mariska Hargitay, actriz conocida por La ley y el orden: Unidad de Víctimas Especiales. La particularidad es que será la primera mujer en conducir la ceremonia en 15 años, tras Jane Lynch en 2011.
En esta nueva edición de los premios, series como The Diplomat y The Pitt tuvieron un gran protagonismo en la categoría de drama. Por su parte, en comedia, Widow's Bay se encuentra entre las más nominadas, con candidaturas en categorías como Mejor serie de comedia, Mejor actor y Mejor actor de reparto.
En lo que respecta a las series limitadas, la nueva entrega de Beef competirá por el premio mayor junto a The Beast in Me, All Her Fault, DTF St. Louis y Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr and Carolyn Bessett.
