- Source Verification — Data points are traced to their original source publication or database
- Cross-Reference Check — Key metrics are verified against at least two independent sources
- Consistency Review — Values are checked for internal consistency and plausibility
- Peer Review — Content is reviewed by team members with relevant domain expertise

Content Updates
Species profiles are updated when new data becomes available from our source organizations. All pages display a “Last Updated” date reflecting the most recent data revision.
